THE PLACE OF SEDATIVES IN THE TREATMENT OF PSYCHONEUROTICS

Psychoneuroses may be considered as psychophysiologic tension states. Treatment consists of a combination of physical and psychological methods. General principles for use of sedatives are given. Methods for effective, short-term psychotherapy of psychoneurotics are presented.
