In the article "Levels of Emotional Awareness: A Cognitive-Developmental Theory and Its Application to Psychopathology" (February 1987 issue, pp. 133-143), by Richard D. Lane and Gary E. Schwartz, there were several errors. On p. 135, in the third line of the bottom paragraph of the left column, the word "possess" should have been "process." Toward the top of p. 136, left column, the line should read ". . . has been described by Werner and others (26-28). . . ." On p. 138, in the middle of the first paragraph in the right column, the phrase should read ". . . clearly differentiated from one another . . ." rather than "closely differentiated." In the middle of the bottom paragraph on p. 141, the term "double depression" should replace "double expression," and in the final line of that paragraph, "course of the affective disorder" rather than "cause of the affective disorder" is correct. The staff regrets these errors.
