Insulin levels during lactate infusion

To determine whether the lactate-induced panic of patients with panic attacks results from hyperinsulinism balanced by epinephrine-enhanced gluconeogenesis, the authors measured 10 subjects' insulin levels exactly when the lactate-induced attacks began. The insulin levels were normal.
