Abstract

This statement was approved by the Board of Trustees of the American Psychiatric Association at its April 29 30, 1972, meeting, upon recommendation of the Council on Mental Health Services. It was prepared by the Task Force to Develop a Position Statement on Community Mental Health Centers. The Assembly of District Branches endorsed the statement at its November 3-5, 1972, meeting.
