Abstract

The authors describe a special maximum security facility established to provide comprehensive psychiatric evaluation of defendants and present results of studies on 200 patients examined over a two-year period. The uniqueness of this hospital lies in its specially trained staff working over a prolonged period of time with highly selected patients exhibiting volatile behavior.
