DIAZEPAM IN LONG-TERM CHRONIC SCHIZOPHRENIA
Abstract
High daily doses of diazepam given over a period of 4 months to 12 long-term chronic schizophrenic females failed to produce any sustained improvement in comparison to the degree of control previously obtained with phenothiazines. Side effects were very outstanding in more than half the patients.
