Abstract

Cetadiol does not have a tranquilizing or sedating effect on patients suffering from delirium tremens or alcoholic hallucinosis. It does not shorten the course of delirium tremens. The placebo used in this study is as effective as Cetadiol in relieving symptoms of alcohol withdrawal. [See Source PDF for table 1]
