Pretreatment urinary MHPG levels as predictors of antidepressant responses to alprazolam

Abstract
The authors present preliminary data showing that pretreatment levels of urinary 3-methoxy-4-hydroxyphenylglycol (MHPG) were significantly higher in six depressed patients who responded to the antidepressant effects of alprazolam than in six depressed patients who showed no antidepressant response.Abstract Teaser
