Abstract
The author questions the effectiveness of the case conference, a procedure that is widely used in mental hospitals. He suggests modifications in the conduct of the conference that involve telling the group about the amount of time, effort, and money expended on cases each session. He also proposes an alternative to the case conference that is based on the "critical paths" approach to time and resource management.Abstract Teaser
