Abstract
The authors questioned 1,314 physicians (chosen at random from four geographical areas) concerning their use of and opinions about marijuana. Thirty-seven percent had been exposed to marijuana, 25 percent had used it, and seven percent were using it currently. In general, experience with cannabis varied with age and location. When queried about their use of alcohol and cigarettes, only eight percent of the subjects were teetotalers and 21 percent currently smoked cigarettes.Abstract Teaser
