Children reared with love and respect mature adequately and become loving, responsible, and productive spouses, parents, and citizens. Those reared in such a way that they hate their parents will also hate other persons for life. If repressed, this pathological hostility causes neuroses; if it is acted out, it results in crime, tyranny, revolution, and aggressive war. The author believes that this kind of individual is the primary cause of violence in the world today.Abstract Teaser
