Abstract

Individuals have recently abused antihistamines in order to obtain hallucinogenic-like effects. While toxic reactions may result from such abuse, the authors cite two cases in which they did not. The authors conclude that dosage may be a critical factor related to toxic side effects; they also discuss treatment of toxic reactions to the antihistamines.
