Abstract
Twenty-five lesbian girls between the ages of 12 and 17 were investigated with special emphasis on family background and relationships. The reversed oedipal formulation that appears to describe many lesbians raised in intact nuclear families was not found. Findings from the study suggest that homosexuality may be a final common behavior pathway rather than a single entity with a single etiology.Abstract Teaser
