Abstract
The authors discuss the effects of psychiatric education on the changing attitudes of a large group of physicians toward psychiatry, psychiatrists, psychotherapy, and psychiatric patients. They conclude that general physicians' attitudes toward mental illness can be affected by training whereas their attitudes toward psychiatrists and psychotherapy change only minimally.Abstract Teaser
