Abstract
A survey of the treatment program at a large mental hospital indicated that with a redeployment of services, the number of patients uninvolved in any specific treatment was reduced by 50 percent. The change was related primarily to greater use of drugs, although verbal treatments also increased. Patient characteristics associated with treatment pattern are described.Abstract Teaser
