Abstract
Quinacrine and chloroquine are being used increasingly in the United States in the treatment of malaria and as an anti-inflammatory agent. In the two cases reported here, quinacrine was administered within the normal therapeutic range and toxic psychoses resulted. Chloroquine produces similar conditions. The author predicts an increase in the complications of suicide, malingering, and toxic psychoses associated with the increasing use of the two drugs.Abstract Teaser
