Abstract

Antibody against specific regions of monkey and human brains was produced by these investigators by inoculating sheep with homogenates of brain parts, fortified with an adjuvant. Observations made in the experiments indirectly support the hypothesis that schizophrenic serum contains antibody against the brain and that symptoms of schizophrenia are the result of an immune process.
