The authors described another case of Sheehan's syndrome accompanied with a mental syndrome characterized by paranoid thoughts, apathy and a complete lack of will power.The combination of pituitary insufficiency and mental disturbances of this type seem to be rare.Substitution therapy improved the patient's physical and mental state.The physical and mental signs and symptoms are identical to those described by other authors.The interrelationship between hormonal state and psyche is again demonstrated in this case.Abstract Teaser
