Abstract
A clinical trial was conducted on 30 hospitalized female patients with cyclopentimine. Decreasing aggressiveness and euphoria were observed as beneficial effects in 8 patients. However, because of the uncontrollable side effects of severe nausea, vomiting, loss of weight and insomnia, as well as extrapyramidal symptoms, headache and allergic dermatitis, the trial had to be discontinued prematurely. It seems that these severe side effects at the present time overshadow the compound's potential therapeutic value.Abstract Teaser
