Abstract
A case of crush syndrome following ECT is reported. It emphasizes the need to anticipate such complications. There are probably other delayed complications in which the relationship to ECT has not yet been recognized. An increased awareness of their potential occurrence is essential if earlier and more adequate management of them is to result. Careful autopsy studies are necessary for the broadening of our knowledge in these areas. "Was man weiss, man sieht."Abstract Teaser
