Abstract

1. A controlled study was made of the effects of oral chlorpromazine on chronic neurotic tension states in 21 male inpatients.2. The dosage ranged from 150-300 mg. daily.3. Cases treated with chlorpromazine showed no greater improvement than those treated with inert tablets.
