Abstract

1. This study indicates that, as found in routine autopsies at the state hospitals, there are many more meningiomas, more pituitary and metastatic tumors, somewhat fewer granulomatous tumors and considerably fewer gliomas than in a general hospital.2. Most of the undiagnosed intracranial tumors were found in aged patients with severe cerebral arteriosclerosis.
