Abstract

Certain theoretical aspects of psychiatric causes concerning creative writing and criticism are presented and discussed. Emphasis is placed on present-day concepts of neural mechanisms,"engrams," and with implications that mechanistic factors and conditioning experiences may play an important role in the output of the so-called "creative writer."
