Abstract
This paper presents a patient—the first, we believe—who, after cardiac surgery, successfully endured both insulin coma and electroconvulsive therapies. We feel that with the rapid increase in cardiac surgery and the resultant new way of living, other psychotic reactions may develop which will require shock therapies.Abstract Teaser
