Abstract

We have discussed the broad outlines of educational activities in the mental hospital with particular reference to who shall be taught. Those to be trained have been divided into 2 groups: those with no previous basic training in psychiatry and those who have completed some such training. We would conclude that organized staff training, continuous inservice training, and education of the public are proper responsibilities of the mental hospital.
