Abstract

We have endeavored to touch upon certain points in the purpose, organization and operation of the psychiatric unit on a training station, and upon a few of the results and some of the problems—in particular screening, including the use of the questionnaire, criteria for disposition, malingering, correlations of accumulating data, therapy, the maintenance of the scientific level and efficiency of the staff, and the integration of clinical psychiatry with the life and activities of the station.
